Great gallery!
Great gallery!
I just bought this gallery, where can I find a kind of a "HOW TO Install" document? Thank you.
wow, very quick response!
Found the index and I am just reading the steps!
Thank you very much!
I have just purchased this awesome slideshow gallery to use on a website for a construction company. It was very easy to set up and seemed to work quite well almost immediately in Firefox, Safari (on my iPad2), IE9 and Chrome. However, when I tried launching it using IE8 (on a XP 64bit OS workstation), I get the following error:
Errors on this webpage might cause it to work incorrectly
Object doesn't support this action
FWDFlickrGallery.js Line: 1
Code: 0 Char: 35148
Following that line, there are additional errors with:
Object expected
(this file named below contains the gallery code)
commercial.html Line: 136
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this error? And, if so, is there is any work-around for it?
Thanks FWDesign, I was pretty sure that was the issue. Unfortunately, many of the viewers of the site are still using this outdated browser. I will have to come up with a work around for those using IE 8 or less.
Pretty great code though for the other browsers!!
I appreciate your quick response!!
The instructions are not that clear in the downloaded package I purchased.
How exactly to you use this?
I have 72 images, do I have to type
72 times?
Hi, very nice gallery, but I have two questions:
- how to programmatically fill the xml values? ie. a dynamic list of image from my db. I tried to rename config.xml into config.php, but FWDFlickrGallery refuse to open.
- how to open gallery to specific image? On my webpage I have all thumbnails of all images of gallery, so, when a user click on thumbnails expects to open exaclty this image, and not the first of the gallery. There are a list of FWDFlickrGallery object methods?
about the first question, it works, thank you very much!
about the second one, let me explain better. I use the lightbox version, so in my content page I have:
etc...
What I expect is when the user click on thumb2.jpg it opens gallery on image2.jpg, the second one in gallery. It could be easy if I can call something like openLightBox('image2.jpg') or simply passing an index openLightBox(2)
... the comment system ate the code part. It was:
< a href="javascript:openLightBox();">< img src="thumb1.jpg" > a>
< a href="javascript:openLightBox();">< img src="thumb2.jpg" > a>
Hello, yesterday I purchased the HTML5 Slideshow Gallery Thumbnails XML (multiple commercial license) and I determined, that it dosn't work on my Mac with Safari v. 6.0.4 and Google Chrome v. 26.0.1410.65. What can i do?
